Wir erinnern uns: 2004 debütierten die Iron City Patriots (die gleichnamige Bandhymne ist ein unschlagbarer Singalong-Smasher) aus Maastricht mit dem Viva Meestrech! Mini-Album, damals noch in Landessprache. Der Durchbruch gelang mit Guest of the state, 2006 auf BANDWORM als 12-Song Album auf LP/CD veröffentlicht. Mit englischen Texten. Knackige Bully-Mixtur aus C 84, COCKNEY REJECTS und TEMPLARS, aggressiver Skinhead-Beat mit jeder Menge Wut im Bauch. Damals am Bass: Merijn (BANNER OF THUGS, jetzt bei DISCIPLINE und YOUNG ONES).Ende der 2000er wurde es ruhig um die Band, jetzt kommt das Comeback. Spiet van alles enthält 9 Songs, gesungen wird wieder im lokalen Dialekt. Der Kreis schließt sich. Und man hat nichts verlernt, nur an den Details gefeilt. Ist härter und kompakter geworden. Wuchtiger Troublemaker/Hooligan-Streetpunk mit großen Singalongs, mitreissenden Melodien und mächtigen Riffs. Leicht metallisch und sehr präzise.
