Violent Disorders sophomore release “United Front” - continues on with the Brickwall Oi! Of their first EP (which focused on the 1960's Jamaican origins of the Skinhead Movement) - this time taking you on a journey through 70's and 80's Britain: Riots in Brixton, Bristol, Handsworth. Street battles against the National Front in Lewisham. The story of anti-fascist street fighter Martin Lux (famous for his attack on boneheads who had tried to disrupt the infamous Crass gig at Conway hall). A message of Punk, Skin and Rasta Unity. A look into the unique time and place where the confluence of Punk Rock, Oi, Reggae and 2 Tone created one of the most vibrant music scenes to ever exist. One where Jah Shaka's Sound System ruled the dancehalls, and Rock Against Racism was the rally cry of a generation. They’ve also got a nod to the present continuation of that culture with the lead single “Blackpool” (where just last year punks and skins battled the far right outside of the Rebellion Festival).
Each variant contains a color-printed text sheet and a Violent Disorder "collectible card" (printed on one side, hand-stamped and numbered on the back).
