A few years ago, a cover version of Skrewdriver went viral on YT. Negro Terror covered "The Voice of Memphis" and "Invasion" by Skrewdriver
The hardcore punk band around Omar Higgins, who unfortunately died in 2019, quickly achieved cult status worldwide and indie filmmaker John Rush even dedicated an award-winning documentary to the band!
The "Voice of Memphis" EP on 7inch is probably one of the most sought-after underground singles and other tracks including "Rapist" by Combat84 have so far only been around as MP3s on the net.
Now there is a "fan edition" from "Rock against Racism-Records" from Eastern Europe (?) with the entire work of the band on 12inch and apparently the songs have even been remastered a bit, which reinforces the aggressive, raw character of the songs .
